A single dental implant placed and restored in the aesthetic zone following an Immediate or Delayed Implant Loading Protocol has been reported as a reliable and predictable treatment option. However, the factors influencing the satisfaction and OHRQoL of patients with implant treatments are still unclear. Aim: The study's main objective was to identify factors that affect patient satisfaction and OHRQoL, aiming to improve the quality of oral implantology, and the correlation between patient satisfaction and OHRQoL scores. Results: There were 35 participants in the study, 25 females (71.4%), and 10 males. The mean OIDP score was 3.94 (SD=7.4) and the median OIDP score was 2 (IQR:0-4). The mean Satisfaction score was 4.68 (SD=0.32) and the median Satisfaction score was 4.76 (IQR: 4.46-5). There was a robust negative association between satisfaction scores and OIDP scores (rs= -0.8052, p=0.0289) for patients who had delayed intervention without a prosthesis. There was a moderate negative association between satisfaction and OIDP scores (rs= -0.4473, p=0.015) for bone augmentation patients. Conclusion: The results of this study provide a snapshot of the current preferences among the population in South Africa. There was a moderate negative association between satisfaction scores and ODIP scores, indicating that bone augmentation patients had a negative relationship with both OIDP and Satisfaction scores. Patients with higher discomfort (ODIP scores) had a lower satisfaction score.
