dc.description | Has Russia found the silver bullet to Covid-19? The Eurasian country believes it has and is calling it Sputnik V (five). According to Russia’s President Vladimir Putin the vaccine thus far offers sustainable immunity and all safety checks have been conducted. However the vaccine has had little testing on humans. But Moscow is set to change this as it plans to roll out the first of the world's Covid-19 vaccine within two weeks. It says medics will receive their first shots. The World Health Organization (WHO) has confirmed it is in discussions with Russian health authorities to conduct a data review. | |
