Abstract
Description
This is the tenth calendar of the University of the Western Cape's wildflower calendar series. Produced at a very appropriate time, the 12-plate calendar highlights the threats that exist to our natural heritage and its aim is to create an awareness of this. The floristic richness and beauty of the area most severely threatened due to mass urbanization, amongst others, are portrayed. It focuses the attention on the need to cultivate wise stewardship to maintain a quality environment.
