Featured are exclusive interviews with significant figures such as Prof. Richard van der Ross, UWC's first black Rector, Noby Ngombani, the SRC chairperson during that transformative period, and Prof. Jakes Gerwel, van der Ross's successor. Professor Gerwel’s tenure, beginning in 1987, marked a distinct alignment with the mass democratic movement and introduced significant innovations in curriculum and research.
