Abstract

Background: Interventions to prevent unwanted pregnancies are based on the belief that knowledge is needed to prompt behavioural change to improve acceptance of family planning methods. Numerous interventions have been developed to improve knowledge, attitude, and practice in the use of family planning methods. It is specified in literature that economic, sociocultural, environmental factors; location, age, educational, traditional beliefs, religion, family type and level of knowledge affect the attitude of individuals towards their practice in the use of family planning
