Emotions play an important part in our well-being and connections with others. It contributes to the connection between the caregiver and the baby in the first 1000 days. Experiences provided through the interactions between the caregiver and the baby impact the baby’s emotional and brain development. It creates mental pictures in babies’ brains, which may influence their sense of self-worth and their perceptions about the trustworthiness of other people. Parents’ quality of care may affect the baby’s social, emotional, and intellectual development. Since connectedness with the baby is an essential aspect of parenting, this study explores the human capability of emotion and its contribution to connectedness with the baby in the first 1000 days of life.en_US
