| dc.description.abstract | Health emerges as a pivotal element of human capital, and therefore, this study analysed the relationship between economic growth and health outcomes in Sudan from 2000-2020. The study explored the trends in health outcomes namely child mortality rate, fertility rates and life expectancy and determined other factors that may affect its economic growth, such as education. The study measured the extent to which the Sudanese government has promoted health and provided evidence-based recommendations to policymakers. Health outcomes impact the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) as one indicator of economic growth. Sudan's health care system has been destroyed by ongoing war and conflicts. | |
