dc.description.abstract | This study describes sedimentological, geochemical and mineralogical results of the beach sediments of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates in order to understand the provenance, depositional environment and the level of contamination. Fifty-seven beach sand samples were collected for grain size, geochemical and mineralogical analyses using inductively coupled plasma mass spectroscopy (ICP-MS), X-ray fluorescence (XRF) and using X-ray diffraction (XRD). | |
