Item Pharmacological evaluation of Leonotis Leonurus for antiepilectic activity(UWC, 2001) Bienvenu, E; Amabeoku, GThe present study investigated the anticonvulsant properties of the aqueous extract of Leonotis leonurus (L.) R. BR. of the family, Lamiaceae and the possible mechanism of the antiepileptic activity of this plant. A preliminary phytochemical screening of the said plant extract was also carried out.
