Abstract

Corruption has crippled many economies, with developing countries being the hardest hit and the Kingdom of Swaziland being no exception. The government of Swaziland loses millions monthly through corruption and the figure has been rising over the years as the economic crisis has been worsening. There is evidence that some of the funds are looted by way of grand corruption. The government is supposed to be doing something, but seemingly its response is not adequate, for the monthly losses are rising.
