The principle aim of this work is to improve the way in which pre-equilibrium double differential cross-sections are currently calculated [1, 2, 3, 4]. The theoretical basis for these calculations is the Multistep Direct Theory by Feshbach, Kerman and Koonin (FKK theory) [5]. This theory leads to the simplification of multistep reactions as a folding of single-step reactions through the implementation of the Distorted Wave Born Approximation (DWBA). The pre-equilibrium cross-sections are subsequently calculated with a multistep direct code.en_US
