dc.description.abstract | Background: This project forms part of one of the modules of Business Economics at the third-year level where commerce students under the guidances of academic staff are used for counselling small business. According to co-ordinator Mr Etienna Mentour, the project is unique to UWC as it is the only University that offers this module as a credit bearer. The project has existed since 1989, with its primary aim to support entrepreneurs in disadvantaged and poor sections of the community by providing managerial assistance to them. | |
