dc.description.abstract | Background: The recent one-day pharmacy symposium at UWC dealing with the future role of pharmacists in South Africa attracted country-wide interest – participants included delegates from government departments, political and community organisations, retail and wholesale pharmacists, academics and manufacturers. Among the 250 delegates were Mr Wolf Furst, of the National Association of Pharmacy Wholesalers, Mr Cecil Abramson, of the National Association of the Pharmacy Wholesalers, and Dr Nathan Finkelstein of the Pharmacy Council and representatives of the major political parties. | |
