The obtained Fe-C was characterized by Raman spectroscopy, X-raydiffraction, transmission electron microscopy, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The Fe-C surfacecharacteristics supported a high (40 wt%) loading of Pt nanoparticles with uniform dispersion and smallparticle size.
