Heterocyclic, Schiff bases, aliphatic amines and other ligands are among the many potential scaffolds in drug design. To contribute to the development of these drugs, we discovered the metal-based organometallic complexes that could potentially be effective against tuberculosis, which is a common bacterial infectious disease that is caused by the bacillus mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb). As the demand for new compounds with desired antibacterial properties has grown over the past few decades, interest in Schiff bases has also significantly increased.
