Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society, 395(2): 979–9840035-8711http://hdl.handle.net/10566/839JL 82 is a known binary, consisting of an sdB star and a companion which is not directly observable in the optical. Photometric measurements reported in this paper show it to variable with both the binary period (∼0.75 d), as well as on much shorter time-scales. The shorter periods are ascribed to pulsation of the sdB star, making it a member of the PG 1716 class of pulsating stars.en© 2009 copyright Oxford University Press.
