Periodontal disease is one of the most common diseases worldwide. Periodontal treatment aims to prevent disease progression and restore functional and aesthetic dentition. The purpose of studying periodontal treatment outcome is to assess treatment efficacy.
Treatment outcome of periodontal disease is affected by multiple patient-related factors, the type of treatment provided, and the expertise of the clinician.
